In the wake of recent tragedies involving street racing, OPP Commissioner Fantino has some new ideas to stop street racing. One of them is to employ planes that would be used to track and take down speeders. He has seen this in action in Ohio and believes it would be a good application in Ontario. The second suggestion is to create a speeding cap of 50 km/h over the limit. If a driver is caught exceeding the limit by more than 50 km/h, their vehicle would be seized by the police. You can also read other thoughts on these ideas in a Toronto Star Voices segment.

Having done my share of experimenting during a misspent youth, there are few things I haven't tried. When I took a vow to be faithful to one man for the rest of my life I knew what I was giving up. I knew I was giving up the fiery desire of unconsummated relationships. I knew I was giving up sexual tension, mystery and anticipation. But I liked what I was getting in return.

On Saturday night, I went to see Evil Dead The Musical at the Diesel Playhouse. It was supposed to be the closing night, but the run was miraculously extended for another six weeks (a familiar marketing ploy of the producer, Jeffrey Latimer Entertainment). If you want to check out the official star revue by Richard Ouzounian, you can read it here. He loved it, and so did I, but our viewpoints differ dramatically on some points.
I should start off by saying that I have never seen the Evil

A Charter of Rights challenge is being heard in the Superior Court of Ontario today regarding the availability of adoption information in Ontario. Currently, there is legislation that is expected to be implemented in October of this year that would provide access to identities for both sides of the adoption (parents and children). The challenge claims that this is a violation of privacy, that should they choose not to seek out the other party, they should also have the right to be protected from searches.

We felt it just last week. The thick, oppressive heat of summer weighing on us, the sun beating down on us, the wondering if we were in for months of this, wondering when we might have a little relief. We found some ways to get that, which was good. But even better, then came the glory of a hard summer rain washing the haze of out the air, a cooler wind whipping the hanging clouds of heat away. It's a cycle that repeats through summer, that defines those months as surely as skipping feet and sprinklers and popsicles. And it's a feature of lots of great books about weathering the warm months in the heart of the urban jungle (although one or two end with some other cooling). Here are a few hot picks to remind you: a hard rain's a-gonna fall.

One of my favorite places to go for a hip, yet informal dinner out is Lee.
Nothing against Susur next door, which is Susur Lee's original restaurant, but I must say, I really enjoy the more lively yet casual approach to dining at Lee. The menu is sort of a tapas style and each dish is meant for sharing.
But after you try the Spicy Crisp Tofu with a wildflower honey & chili soy glaze and mushroom & pepper compote or the Caramelized Black Cod with Cantonese preserves and miso mustard you might not want to share.
Both dishes are amazing.
The Broccoli Salad with crispy bacon, puffed rice & Kung Pao Dressing is also really good, but is a great dish to share as it's a lot of broccoli for one person.
If you've never been before, one of the most popular dishes is the Singaporean Slaw which is really fun and really tasty.

On Sunday, Father's Day, a divorced father spent the day with his children, and when the day was done he dropped them off at two different foster homes. While he has remarried to a woman who has legally certified to be willing to be a stepmother to all three children, the mother faces impaired driving charges and had the children taken by Durham CAS after suspected drug use.
The reason this is all happening, the reason why the father has not been granted custody of his children by Durham CAS? The mother lives in Durham Region, while the father lives in northeast New York State. Apparently, a Canadian citizen living in the U.S. cannot have custody of his own children.

I was all set to write a post beweeping my outcast state. You see, no one wants to hire a pregnant actor. Or, perhaps they do, but the roles are few and far between, and I'm not playing in the Big Leagues, so those roles don't filter down to me.
I've been somewhat depressed lately, troubling deaf heaven with my bootless cries, because I am finally at a point where I feel I can do a show again. Where I feel I deserve to do a show again. The Boy is weaned. My supplementary schooling is over. I'm finally at a point where I feel I can commit to outside activities with relatively no guilt, and what do I do? I go and get myself pregnant. On purpose (well, if not entirely on purpose, at least not by mistake). I can only look upon myself for this minor quandry.

My favourite time to masturbate is first thing in the morning when it's my turn to sleep in. I love to wake up leisurely and start the day with a luxurious solo orgasm.
