Multi-tasking Mommy

What about Charlotte's Web? Or is that too old?
How old is your little one? I've been thinking the same thing about reading aloud to my 2 1/2 year old. I bought Stewart Little and Charlotte's Web and have been sitting on it....

I didn't include Charlotte's Web because of the obvious content (ie. death of a character they come to love) which, frankly, I don't feel like dealing with with a three-year-old. Plenty of time for that. I like to save that kind of trauma for a child of 8 to 10, or maybe as young as 6, depending on the child.

I was thinking, though, that I had been totally remiss in not including Wind In The Willows or Just So Stories.
