What's that?
You have a tattoo?
You have more than one? Oh baby, you and I need to talk... or something!

I know that there are a lot of people in this big ol' world of ours, and as many people as there are, there are as many opinions about the permanent decoration of the skin.
Relax, I'm not going to start that fight here. What I will say is that for many people, tattoos are a turn-on. Some women like a man that has tattooed shoulders or biceps, or even other places. Here in North America, tattoos have been the province of sailors, soldiers, Marines, and laborers for years... even centuries. In recent years, tattoos on men have gained an unprecedented level of acceptance, and it isn't uncommon for men in the white-collar business world to sport a tat or two. Men with tats are cool... or tough.
Women with tattoos, on the other hand, have been stigmatized for as long as men with ink have been thought to be tough or cool. Oh, I know that today, more and more women have tattoos, but to tell you the truth, there are still horrible perceptions out there about tattooed women. We happen to have a family friend whose daughter is shagging just about every man she can get her hands on, and her mother knows it... and would rather her daughter be shagging like a rabbit than see her daughter with a tattoo. Why?, because girls with tattoos are "skanky."
Ahem.
Bullshit.
My friends, your pal the Crossbowman digs a woman with ink. It turns me on. Whether it is a nice ankle piece, a lower back piece, or something else... or even several something else's.
The woman I share my life with is not a friend of the needle, and therefore refuses to even think about the idea... but, smart lady that she is, knows what it does for me. From time to time we go the temporary tattoo route.
Hot.
Hot.
Hot.
Oh,the stories I could tell.
Excuse me... I'm having a moment, here.
If you have a tattoo or more than one... has it ever been a detriment to your love life? Has it helped?
Do tell... the Crossbowman, and all of your fellow Hot 'n Bothered readers want to know!

My husband is not that sure about them either way. He isn't opposed to mine, but I don't think they do anything in particular, either. They just are.

I can't say my little ole tat has ever been a detriment, though who knows how many potential lovers never approached me when they saw it.
I do have to say getting a tat was a bit empowering. Maybe the turn on about women with them is that they are willing to buck tradition.

I love the two tats on my mans upper arms and would love him to get more.
I myself have 7 of my own...with plans for many more. My newest one my hubby finds especially appealing, its on the back of my neck :)

They really are kind of addicting. I have one tat that I love. I've wanted to add a little something to it for a long time.
And the men who have been invited to see it have been very ummm... complimentary!
A tat or two or three on a man = HOT!

No one has ever really found mine hot.
Humph.
It's not like it's porky pig or anything.
And I'm sure not Porky Pig-ish.
Mine isn't talked about in these parts.
Humph.

Well, do tell, Moosh...
What is it and where is it?

I will get a tattoo, though I'm still in the process of searching for that special item to have on my body FOR THE REST OF TIME. Its permanence doesn't frighten me, but I do want it to be lovely and a general enhancement. A friend of mine got the Tasmanian Devil (Taz) on his ankle in HS. My feeling was, you're gonna regret that one.
I don't want to regret. But in general, I think tattoos are hella hot. My husband spent some time out in the Western states doing VISTA, and a Native American friend gave him a medicine wheel on his upper arm. I never fail to get turned on looking at it. I hope whatever I choose to grace my body has the same effect on my husband.

I love the nicknames that lower back tats (as mine is)get:
tramp stamp
ass antlers
As mine is not very big my friends call it the tramp stamp. My friend's butterfly with lots of extra curliques is however ass antlers.
Jonesing for my next tat
