I think I'm a relatively hot mama.
Key word: relatively.
The older I get, the more I realize that attractiveness is all relative and that realization is what allows me to feel good about myself despite the fact that I will never, ever look as good in a bikini as I did 15 years ago.
There's lots of talk out there about how thin models are, how airbrushed they are...
They're young! They're so very young and I am not. And if you stick me with a group of 20-year-olds I'm gonna look like a hag and I know that and I'm okay with that.
What I aspire to, what we should all aspire to, is looking good for our age. I have never understood why it is considered a backhanded compliment when someone says that someone looks good for her age.
I don't care if 20 year olds think I'm sexy. I do not aspire to be Stacy's Mom.
There's an old joke that the easiest way to look thinner is to hang out with fat people. Well, the easiest way to look older is to hang out with younger people.
I don't wanna hang out with young people. I love my peeps. We're interesting. We've been around the block a few times and we have the tire marks to prove it.
We are hot mamas damnit!
And when I'm 90, I hope to be one of the hottest numbers in the nursing home. Will I be the least bit attractive to 99% of the population? No I will not be. But to that other .001 per cent?
Boom chicka bow-bow.

I am SO WITH YOU on this!
