I have a fondness for cheeky music. I don't shy away from accents thrown into pop sensibility. (Am I starting to sound like pompous music critic?) If Lily Allen and the Happy Mondays were having a child it would be Kate Nash.
But rather Lily Allen is having a child with one half of the Chemical Brothers. That also sounds like music to my ears.
Indeed Kate Nash can give thanks to Lily Allen for including Nash in her top eight friends on MySpace which led to the release of her debut album Made of Bricks on Universal.
I know my daughters are going to be all over this album. I can't help but wonder if they keep listening to Lily, Kate and Madonna if they will pick up a British accent?

I love artists who don't loose their British accents while singing. It's one of the reason why I love The Arctic Monkeys, The Libertines & Lily Allen (just to name a few). But how absolutely sad it is that Lily & Ed's future little rocker was not to be.

I wondered about Pumpkin Soup - maybe I should check it out.
