OK, two lip product posts in a row might be too many. But I work for a fashion/beauty/trend website, so it's a bit of an addiction (to say the least). Plus, last time I promised I'd tell you which named-after-a-celebrity lipstick I wear.
Elizabeth Arden Color Intrigue Lipstick in "CZJ" is a mouthful of a lipstick. Named after no less than that great Welsh brunette, THE face of Elizabeth Arden, Catharine Zeta Jones. It was given to me by a friend, who received it in a free-gift-with-purchase goodie bag and decided the colour was too much for her.
Too much is not a term Addictine understands, so I applied it liberally. "CZJ" is a great colour for those who aren't afraid of a bit of pigment. In fact it's so flattering to so many skin shades that it is consistently sold-out every time I hit the EA counter at the Bay. (I am nowhere near running out, but I'm so afraid of the possibility that I check obsessively.)
Describing the colour is as difficult a task as finding the shade in stock. A warm taupe? A rusty plum? It somehow has cool plum tones and warmer tones in one. How did CZJ do that? And while we're at it, how did she have sex with Michael Douglas twice to produce those Oscar-winning babies?
To be honest, I'm not so in love with the smell. Lipstick tends to smell like grannies, or my disastrous early attempts at makeup application. But the texture is nice. It goes on smooth, and though it's weightier than last week's beloved Gloss Stick, it's not uncomfortably so.
It has good wearability. I prefer reapplying than wearing "long-lasting" lipsticks that are glued to your lips making you smile weird. This one does not come off too easily, but you don't need turpentine to remove it either.
Unfortunately, I can't promise that it won't make men 20 years older than you want to have babies with you. But a little ego boost is always OK with Addictine.
Get it -- if you can -- at the Bay.

Got it, love it. Am a redhead with pink/red skin, and it's so hard to find a lipstick that doesn't go bright pink on me.
Seriously, this shade would look good on almost anyone.
You can get it at the more upscale Shoppers Drug Mart locations, as they sell Elizabeth Arden, Lancome, etc. That's where I bought mine.
