I couldn't agree more with that assessment of Angelina Ballerina (tv versus book). Saccharine nails her tv persona but I can take the book characters without too much eye rolling. Gigi has fully entered her girly phase (much to my discomfort) which I am trying to embrace because it obviously means so much to her. I'm thinking that Dahlia needs to be on our reading list pronto.

i'm SO jealous. you don't have Care Bears or Barbie in your read list.
I want to slit my t-roat every-other-night.

Ha! Toyfoto, that's because those don't even come home. We do, however, have some painful Dora books we've gotten as gifts, which can't be any better, can they? Blech.

Mamalooper

Unfortunately Dora IS better than the Care Bears, the most poorly written "books" (ahem, advertising) ever. We have ONE Care Bears book that I tucked away, never to be found I hope.

And I just picked up Horton Hears A Who today - the girl LOVES it.
